Unless you have been living under a rock you won’t have escaped the rumors and hype about the iPhone 5. It is rumored that it will be unveiled by Apple on October 4 2011 in California. The exact release date to the retail outlets has not been announced but when it is you should start looking for great  iPhone 5 deals . Enhancements to the present high resolution video and face recognition applications are also expected. Talk about the integration of an 8 megapixel camera is also doing the rounds. To add to the excitement there is also speculation about the new model having radio frequency identification (RFID) so that you will be able to go to your grocery store and pay with your device so that you do not have to queue at the checkout. A new patent for this has been applied for according to those in the know. For the iPod Touch and iPhone 5 the RFID loop will be built into the screens. The rumor mill is also awash about increased memory capabilities from the current 16 Giga Bytes (GB) to a super sized 64 GB which will only increase the anticipation about the new phone.

 

If you like the style and size of the current iPhone then you will adore the new model. Talk about a new thinner model abounds with a sexy shiny new glass back. The user screen is rumored to be shatter proof and scratch proof too. Full on GPS is likely to feature as is the ability for users to assign different alert tones to different email accounts.

 

With all of these new features and upgrades what will the price be? Well the rumors coming out of Apple are good on this too as it is claimed that it will be around the same price point as the iPhone 4. It is becoming unbearable waiting for this new phone.
